Efficacy of chemical insecticides, biopesticides, and botanicals against developmental stages of Rhyzopertha dominica on stored wheat
Author(s): Anamika Kumari and Usha Yadav
Abstract: The study evaluated 12 treatments, including botanicals, biopesticides, and synthetic chemicals, against Rhyzopertha dominica on stored wheat. Spinosad (T8) and Beauveria bassiana (T6) showed 0% egg hatching and >90% mortality across all developmental stages. Botanicals like sweet flag rhizome (T5) and custard apple leaves (T4) also demonstrated high efficacy. Results highlight the potential of integrated pest management combining botanicals and biopesticides.
