Spatial variation in the community structure, species richness and abundance of dung beetle population in Panipat district of Haryana, India

Abstract: Surveys and collection of dung beetles in Panipat district of Haryana, India were carried out for the whole year during the active season (March to October) of dung beetles. During this observation period, a total of 928 individuals of two sub-families representing 09 genera and 24 species were captured. Overall, a decline in dung beetle species richness, abundance and community structure has been noticed.
