Investigating seasonal fluctuations of heavy metals in aquatic ecosystems of mining areas

Abstract: This research article focuses on the seasonal fluctuations of heavy metal concentrations in aquatic ecosystems adjacent to mining areas. Due to the ecological and public health risks posed by heavy metals, understanding their temporal dynamics is crucial for environmental management and policy development. We conducted a year-long study, sampling water and sediment from various aquatic systems near mining sites, to assess the seasonal variation in metal concentrations and its implications.
